Stewardship 2016

Giving Intent for 2016

     What is stewardship?

Stewardship is a way of life, a life of accountability and responsibility, acknowledging God as Creator and Giver of all. Stewardship involves responsible management of our God-given resources of time, talent, and treasure. Stewards, as disciples of Jesus Christ, see themselves as caretakers of all God’s gifts.

Online giving is the preferred and easiest way to make you financial gifts to the church.  To participate in online giving visit the church website at ellijayfumc.org.  Select the “Donate” tab.  You will find instructions on setting up your personalized offering plan.  There is no fee and all information is secure.  Setting up a giving plan insures that your offering will be sent, even if you are unable to attend.

Additionally, most banks offer “on line bill pay” through their online banking programs.  These programs can be set to accommodate you giving schedule, be it weekly or monthly.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
